Fabulous Pony Ranch moves sim

Several times over the past couple of years I have had to report the closure of a Pony Ranch or Stable, JJ Stables next to the Pet Adoption Centre was the most recent, Trotting Tails another.
FPR was a little over two years old and is a testament to hard work by Jana Hallenbrook, Sissa Siamendes and Cassandrelle. It features some beautifully terraformed land surrounded by high megaprim mountains. The sim has changed as the RL seasons pass and is, in my opinion, one of the better scenic sims that have a true RL feel and look. That this is combined with several excellent ponysport features (a fine steeple-course, a dressage field, the usual slalom and barrels and a fiendish walk and jump gate slalom) is a triumph of design. The place is rightfully popular. Thanks to the vagaries of international accounting, the sim owners recently announced a ridiculous 20% hike in the rent and that was the last straw for the group that runs FPR. The result is a temporary closure and a move and a heck of a lot of work for the managing group. I for one can appreciate the work involved, having decamped sims some 5 years ago. Just to show you a little of what will be sorely missed I include a couple of recently taken photos of the sim. I would like to express fervent hope that FPR will not be gone from SL for long.

Just for the record the sim will close later this week, about 12-13th September, I believe.
